California WC Reporting and Notification Requirements

The State of California has changed their WC reporting and notification requirements. Effective October 8, 2010, all employers must use the revised version of the DWC-1 Workers' Compensation Claim Form & Notice of Potential Eligibility. (Click here) or the California WC Institute site at www.cwci.org/store.html.

In addition, the new regulations require all employers to post information about the California Medical Provider Network (MPN) along with the DWC-7 Notice to Employees - Injuries Caused By Work, at each jobsite. (Click here)
